Let's Thai it...Mission 12: Yum Chow

A new fast food kind of Thai experience.

 Location: Gudaibya.
Group: Nazli, Sireen, Reem, Noor.
Rating: 5.5/10
Date: 21-12-2011

We got surprised when we saw the place. We were expecting something very low class but we found a Jasmis kind of thing!

Menu. It was here when we discovered that the place was Asian and not Thai. We tried our best to stick to Thai dishes but they had few only. They serve Combo meals. How cool!

Chicken Shanghai. Chinese but yummy. Loved how the sauce was already added instead of the dipping mess.

Wonton Chicken. Delicious.

Tom Yum Soup. It was supposed to be Sea Food but we couldn't find anything inside except for shrimps. Not the Tom Yum standard that we got used to. Very fast food kind of thing. It was not bad though. But like Noor said: "don't waste your time on it"

Beef Salad. A bit zesty. The beef was bad and chewy.

Sweet & Sour Chicken. Regular. Nothing special, nothing bad.

Seafood Sizzling. Tasteless.

Vegetable Fried Rice. Best dish. Recommended

Mongolian Beef. Very delicious, saucy and thick.

Beef Brisket Stew Noodles. Bad. We could't eat it. Not our thing.

Beef Sizzling. Extra order by mistake. Average.

And for dessert, Snow fruit roll. We were expecting fried bananas but it smelled like mango. We didn't figure out what it was.

Loved the take away bag.

Total bill = BD30

It was nice to experience fast food Asian cuisine, but because of the limited Thai dishes i felt like it was a waste of time. I didn't like the place/food and my rating was 3. But average of the group was 5.5. Plus all the Filipino Christmas hymens were very annoying.

Not recommended.
