Let's Thai it...Mission 7: Swan Lake

7th mission to explore the hidden Thai restaurants in Bahrain was a bit different. Swan Lake was a Filipino/Thai and it was challenging to differentiate and pick the right dishes.

Location: Souq Al Manama
Group: Me, Eman, Sireen, Reem, Noor.
Overall Rating: 4/10

The entrance

Dining area. Nice and cozy with comfortable chairs.

The menu was a bit confusing as the Filipino and Thai cuisines were not separated properly. It took us a while to decide what to order with the help of the Filipino waitress.

Plastic soup set. Loved it, very convenient for Tom Yum.

Spoons & forks in a glass of water!

Tom Yum. I am worried that i don't do this soup justice by saying that it was the best Tom Yum we had so far. 10/10. A-m-a-z-i-n-g. It was spicy but not killing spicy. A perfect level of spice with different kinds of herbs that enriched the taste. The 4 points that Swan Lake got were mainly for this delicious soup and nothing else.

As for the rest of the dishes, i won't go over them one by one since they all tasted the same. A total opposite of the soup. Tasteless.

The rice was bad.

Loved how the food was delivered to our table on this trolley.

We had to pass by Hardee's later on for dessert since the food wasn't satisfying.

If you're a fan of Tom Yum soup Swan Lake is the place to be. It is totally worth it to go for the soup only. Other than that, nothing is recommended.
