Third mission to explore the hidden Thai restaurants in Bahrain was in Honey. I've been told that it's the best Thai in Bahrain but we got so disappointed to find out that it was the worst so far!
Location: Bab Al Bahrain.
Group: Me, Eman, Sireen, Reem.
Overall Rating: 3/10
We parked in Regency parking and walked to Gold City. Honey was located in a turning right after it.
Stepping in, we realized that we might get food poisoned because the place looked really, really cheap. Chairs didn't match, tables didn't match, walls didn't match. But it was almost packed with people from different nationalities. So i kept on assuring the girls that the food will be so good even if the place looked that cheap. 90s pop songs were played.."Oooh baby i love your way, every day.."

All menus were torn and the food images didn't look tempting at all. Amount of items were good enough.
Plates were faded and some were broken. They don't use sets. Each plate was different than the other.
Private rooms. Very fishy.
Spring Rolls were very good. You taste the Thai noodles as soon as you bite it. Funny how i only had one so i don't get full, not realizing that this was the only thing i'll be having!
The place from inside. The chairs match in this pic. Only in this pic!
Thai channel was on.
Tom Yum soup and Deep Fried Crispy Beef. The soup was excellent, but the beef...just keep chewing till your jaw hurts.
Thai Toast with Shrimps. Extremely oily that you can't enjoy it.
Chicken Chili Cajunut. Tasteless. We couldn't tell if it was chicken or shrimps.
Vegetable Fried Rice. Average. Too oily.
Stir Minced Beef with Chili & Fresh Basil Leaves. That was absolutely disgusting. As awful as it looks. I'm sure you feel sick just by looking at it.
Sweet & Sour Prawns. Also tasteless. As Reem said, it tasted like sheesha.
We couldn't stop laughing all night about this awful Thai experience. We'll remember it as long as we live. I still don't understand how some people said that this is the best Thai restaurant in Bahrain and how some people are shocked that we didn't like it.
I really hope that this was the worst experience and that our future discoveries will be better.
Sweet! Maybe I should try this kind of delicacies, I think It's all yummy.
